Display modes affect a document's on-screen representation, but not its object data or output quality.

Full Display mode displays the document in all available colors with full detail. |

Draft Display mode displays paths as 1 pixel wide with no fill and displays images with an X through them. |

Macintosh Gamma (Windows) or Windows Gamma (Macintosh) modifies Full Display to show how a graphic looks on another computer platform. When working on the Windows platform, you can view how a graphic looks on the Macintosh platform and vice versa by using this command. |
Note: In Draft Display mode, selected objects appear in full detail. |
To switch to another display mode:
